second pair.......

Here is the second pair of pj pants using soft pink spot fabric - dd wanted a lower waist so cut down about 1 inch compared to the first pair. Pink lace would have been nicer, but used what i had in my stash.

first pair of pj pants

Decided to have a go at PJ pants - really happy with the outcome. Cut up a pair of pants that fit to use as a pattern. Deepened the centre-back curve and centre-front curve a little . The elastic is called "trunk elastic" - really wanted wider but this will do for now. The lace ive had for a very long time, and happened to be a perfect colour for this project! Fabric is called "hail spot".
All done on overlocker, except for lace which is done using zig-zag on sewing machine.
Love this fabric for a summer dressing gown. Hope to do the sleeves kimono style, and maybe 3/4 length. Green ric-rac for detail on a pocket, and also around sleeves near the edges.

Im back with Applie Pie

This is my first apple pie for the year - going to try some apple turnovers so they are more portable for lunch boxes etc. The granny smiths are nice atm.
Found this lovely fine knit mocha cardi to go over a cream lace (very vintage/shabby chic) dress for my nieces wedding in november! I love cardis!
Table runner now in use and looks lovely as a runner under the candelabra. Can you guess where these pics were taken?? These are snapped from a mobile from the car. Farmy photos - this old ute is surrounded by a few palms and other farm inplements. Pa's tractor here too.
